1. Introduction

Welcome to dc.gg, a platform designed to assist Discord server owners and administrators with vanity URLs, click analytics, and community growth tools. The website is owned and operated by Cilooth, based in Geneva, Switzerland. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use dc.gg. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using dc.gg on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. User Accounts & Responsibility

Users access dc.gg by logging in with their Discord account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including unauthorized use resulting from a compromised Discord account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you are in violation of these terms or engaging in prohibited behavior.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

Users must utilize dc.gg for its intended purpose and promptly report any issues encountered. You agree not to:

• Abuse the platform through scraping, automation, or denial-of-service attacks.
• Engage in illegal activities on or through the platform.
• Use vanity URLs for phishing, impersonation, fraud, or to distribute malware.
• Claim slugs that infringe on trademarks, impersonate other entities, or contain hate speech, slurs, or explicit content.
• Resell, transfer, or auction vanity slugs.
• Any other behavior deemed disruptive or harmful at our sole discretion.

5. Vanity URLs & Slugs

Vanity slugs (e.g., dc.gg/your-name) are licensed to you for use on the platform. You do not own a slug. We reserve the right to reclaim, reassign, or disable any slug at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Trademark disputes or legal requests.
• Violation of these terms or our acceptable use policy.
• Extended inactivity (no clicks or management activity for 12 months or more).
• Operational or technical requirements of the platform.

6. Paid Services & Subscriptions

dc.gg may offer paid plans and premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Payments are processed through our payment processor. You authorize recurring charges at the interval you selected (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You will be charged at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until then.
• Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you are entitled to a refund (e.g., billing error, service outage), contact us within 14 days of the charge. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
• Downgrade: When a subscription lapses, your account reverts to the free tier. Premium features (additional slugs, advanced analytics, etc.) will become unavailable. Your data is retained but may be subject to free-tier limits.

By subscribing, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital service and consent to immediate delivery. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you waive any right of withdrawal once the service has been provided.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you provide to dc.gg (server names, descriptions, images). By using the service, you grant dc.gg a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, cache, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate and promote the platform. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep dc.gg available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Privacy & Data Handling

We take user privacy seriously. Detailed information on how we handle user data is available in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

dc.gg and all its services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Cilooth makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or availability of any information on the site or its services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cilooth's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the use of dc.gg shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to dc.gg in the 12 months preceding the claim. In no event will Cilooth be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cilooth and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of dc.gg, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of dc.gg shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.

We encourage users to address any concerns or disputes directly by contacting us at [email protected]. We prefer to resolve issues through mediation or arbitration before any formal legal proceedings.

13. Changes to Terms of Service

Cilooth reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. For material changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. All changes will also be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of dc.gg after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
